I’m a freelance journalist and recent law student graduate based in New York City. I’m currently working as  a Production Assistant for a documentary called Changing Face of Harlem, a film that examines the revitalization of Harlem told through the personal stories of its residents, small business owners, politicians, and developers.

In 2011, I traveled to Yemen to cover the uprising as a reporter for Press TV and writing correspondent for Al Jazeera English.

Iqadh means “awakening” in Arabic and the title is inspired by the historic revolutions that have swept the Arab world.
